The Reno Hilton is a deluxe, lavish high-rise resort
and casino set at the base of the mountains. The hotel
is located five miles from downtown, one & a half
miles from the airport and two & a half miles
from the convention center. Although the Reno Hilton
is a casino resort, it is also very family-oriented,
with entertainment and activities for everyone. A
complimentary airport shuttle runs every half hour
to and from the Reno/Tahoe airport. The Hilton offers
a Casino, eight on-site restaurants, a Buffet, eight
lounges, the famous Reno Hilton Showroom, and the
"Garage" Nightclub. To meet the needs of
all the guests, the hotel is wheelchair accessible.
The Hilton's guest rooms are the largest in the Reno
area and were refurbished in 2001 with a southwestern
d?cor. For the more active guests there is a health
club, an outdoor pool, a whirlpool & sauna, three
outdoor tennis courts, a fifty-lane bowling center,
an aquatic outdoor golfing range and indoor simulated
golf, Go-Kart tracks, a family entertainment center
with video games and Q-V laser tag. There is also
a Wedding Chapel. In addition the hotel features 70,000
square foot shopping mall and 240,000 square feet
of meeting space that can accommodate groups of 10
to 5000. The Reno Hilton offers many onsite dining,
shopping, and entertainment venues.
From March 8 to May 25, the hotel will be featuring
